NEET PG 2018 Entrance Exam Test Scheme
NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
NEET-PG is a single window entrance examination for PG courses. No other entrance examination, either at state or institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 w.e.f. 2017 admission session.
NEET PG 2018 will be conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) in a computer-based mode in the first week of December 2017. As per the official notification of NEET PG, the test will be held in a single session. Hence, no equating method will be followed to prepare the result. The application form for NEET postgraduate exam will be available in October 2018.
Aspirants preparing for NEET PG exam 2018 must note that they are required to provide their Aadhaar card details while applying for the test. Candidates with an MBBS degree and a registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) are eligible to apply. This year, for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted while 4 marks will be added for every correct response. The NEET PG result will be available online in the January 2018, and based on the rank of test takers, they will be shortlisted for the counseling rounds. What’s New in NEET PG 2018?
- This year, aspirants applying for NEET PG must fill their Aadhaar card details.
- However, applicants from the state of Assam, Jammu and Kashmir, and Meghalaya who don’t have an Aadhaar card can provide the details of their Passport Number/PAN Number/Driving License/Voter ID.
- NEET PG 2018 is to be held on a single day in one session.
- This year, there shall be no equating of marks secured by the candidates
- Also, for every wrong attempt in the exam, 1 mark will be deducted.
