NEET PG 2018 Merit List: Cut-off, Rank List, and Score Card

NBE will announce the NEET PG 2018 results by January 31, 2018. NEET PG 2018 result will be announced only for the candidates who will secure minimum qualifying marks in online entrance examination.

As per reports and reactions of the students and an overall analysis of the medical entrance exam, out of the 300 questions asked in the NEET PG 2018 exam, about 90 were of higher difficulty level, 80 were moderate level while the remaining 130 questions were easy.

It is expected that NEET PG 2018 cut off will be similar to that of last year. Central Government in consultation with Medical Council of India may at its discretion lower minimum marks. Such a situation happened last year.

You can see below initial and revised qualifying cutoffs of NEET PG 2018:

Candidates need to score good marks which are equivalent to marks at qualifying percentile in NEET PG 2018 to get admitted to the PG courses.

Qualifying marks for different categories are as below:

Category Eligibility criteria
General 50th percentile
SC / ST / OBC including PWD of these 40th percentile
UR PWD 45th percentile

If the number of candidates that qualify at these percentiles, is fewer than sufficient number, the Central Government in consultation with Medical Council of India may at its discretion lower minimum marks.

Candidates can download the NEET PG 2018 scorecard by entering their testing ID, date of birth and captcha code in the required space. NEET PG result 2018 displays the names of candidates score obtained (out of 1200), rank, qualifying status etc.
